## Crude Oil Tanker “Matilda” – Completion of Painting Works

This is to certify that the surface preparation and application of the specified coating system to the hull and external steel surfaces of the Crude Oil Tanker “Matilda”, were carried out by Anastasios Ventouris – Marine & Industrial Applications and were successfully completed in accordance with the approved technical specifications, project requirements, and prescribed application procedures. Prior to commencement of the painting works, the required surface preparation was carried out, including hydro-jetting, removal of loose material, residues of existing coatings and other contaminants, as well as the necessary local repairs and surface reinstatement works, wherever deemed necessary. Upon completion of the surface preparation, the surfaces were inspected to verify their suitability for application of the specified coating system. The coating application was carried out in accordance with the paint manufacturer's application instructions, the approved project specifications, and the applicable requirements governing works on vessels and steel structures. Particular attention was given to maintaining the required environmental conditions for coating application, as well as to the proper application of each individual coat of the system, with the aim of achieving the required protection of the steel surfaces against corrosion, moisture, mechanical wear, and the general exposure associated with the marine environment. Throughout the execution of the works, the required quality control inspections were performed, including visual inspection of the prepared and coated surfaces, monitoring of environmental conditions and, where applicable, Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements, in order to verify the proper application of the coating system and its compliance with the specified requirements. Upon completion of the works, the coated surfaces of the Crude Oil Tanker “Matilda”, were handed over in satisfactory technical condition, with the applied coating system providing the required level of corrosion protection and durability under the vessel's operating conditions. Based on the above, the surface preparation and painting works to the hull and external surfaces of Crude Oil Tanker “Matilda”, are hereby considered successfully completed and duly carried out in accordance with the project requirements and the applicable technical procedures.
