LADY IOANNA Completion of Cargo Hold Coating Works

The cargo hold coating works on board LADY IOANNA, carried out by Anastasios Ventouris, Maritime & Industrial Applications, were successfully completed in accordance with the approved technical specifications, project requirements, and the prescribed application procedures. Prior to the commencement of the coating works, the required surface preparation was carried out, including cleaning, removal of residues, and localized repair of areas where necessary, in order to ensure suitable substrate conditions for the proper adhesion of the coating system. Subsequently, the specified coating system was applied in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and the technical requirements of the project, providing the required protection of the steel surfaces against corrosion, mechanical wear, and the demanding conditions of the marine environment. Throughout the execution of the works, the required quality control inspections were performed, including environmental condition monitoring, visual inspection of the coating system, and, where required, Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements, to verify compliance with the specified technical requirements. Upon completion of the works by Anastasios Ventouris, Maritime & Industrial Applications, the cargo holds of LADY IOANNA were delivered in fully operational condition, with the applied coating system meeting the required standards for corrosion protection, durability, and the vessel's operational reliability
